The Stabil-Lime Group is a continually growing business with operations across the country, and head office located in Melbourne’s East. The team of 150 employees work on all facets of road construction and maintenance, supported by our office staff, to provide our clients with a full-service philosophy from within the group.
About the Role
Stabil-Lime are currently growing their stabilisation division across Victoria. We currently have a rare opportunity available for a Site Supervisor to provide field based support to the Company and Operations Managers.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Hands on supervision of site works
- Manage daily performance of field crew, plant and equipment resources and subcontractors
- Utilise your excellent communication skills to liaise with customers
- Manage the quality, safety and environmental compliance on site
- Continual training and development of staff under your supervision
- Meet productivity and costing targets
- Operation of plant (rarely, as required)
You will have the following
- Demonstrated experience as a Supervisor/ Leading Hand within the civil construction industry
- Professional attitude with a positive approach
- Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
- Attention to detail with a concern for accuracy
- A commitment to Health and Safety
- Experience within Road Construction or Stabilisation would be highly regarded but is not essential
- Current drivers licence (HR Licence highly regarded)
- OHS Construction Induction Card
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Plant operating experience and tickets
