The Job
Job opportunity for a Site Manager within a well-respected commercial construction builder who deliver apartment builds around the Melbourne area. With a long list of repeat development firms as clients, this progressive and structured construction contractor is now seeking a Site Manager to deliver an apartment development, valued at around $23 million.
As you are aware, Site Manager duties on a project of this scale will include:
- Manage the sub-contractors and their programme of works
- Oversee site HSE system
- Ensure the project runs smoothly and construction issues are resolve
- Liaison with engineering and architectural stakeholders to resolve any construction or design issues
- Manage the resources available to deliver the projects
- Assist with subcontractor claims
Your Experience
To be considered suitably qualified for the role, you will need to meet the following criteria:
- Trade or tertiary qualification in a building & construction related discipline
- Delivered commercial construction projects in excess of $10 million in value
- Have a stable work history - have shown loyalty to former employers
Have delivered concrete structure, multi-story apartment builds with basements, from start to completion, multiple times
