As an Environmental Advisor, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our project teams to contribute to the implementation of BMD’s environmental management systems. You will be responsible for promoting compliance and excellence in all environmental obligations including successful implementation of initiatives on projects.

With a strong pipeline of large infrastructure projects, we are looking for individuals pursuing a long-term career opportunity with a genuine interest to grow their skills and progress their careers within a family owned business.

Skills and responsibilities:

  • Ability to manage environmental management systems to client specifications.
  • Skilled in the writing and reviewing of environmental reports.
  • Experience in environmental auditing processes.
  • Ability to investigate project environmental incident reports.
  • Ability to plan and implement erosion and sediment control plans in conjunction with project team members.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science/Engineering.
  • 5+ years' experience in an environmental role within the construction industry.
  • Experience working with major road authorities is preferable.
