CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR
We are currently looking for a suitable Construction Supervisor to join a Leading Home Builder with endeavours to move into the small commercial space and require a supervisor to assist in managing these projects. During the process of getting this business off the ground we will require you to look after some residential projects until we have a steady flow of commercial fit out / small projects.
You will be required to hold a licence for
- Commercial Building Work ltd to National Construction Code Class 2 – 9 Not Exceeding Three Storey Commercial Fit Outs Residential Building Work ltd to National Construction Code Class 1 & 10 Not Exceeding Two Storey
Attributes and Responsibilities:
- Ability to coordinate trades and subcontractors whilst maintaining professional safe sites
- Knowledge of the current building regulations and previous experience in managing multiple sites
- Excellent time management and job scheduling skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Must be prepared to travel for jobs on either side of the city
- Maximising site production & safe work practices are implemented at all times.
Skills and experienc
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the construction industry
- Carpenter trade qualified (preferable)
- Work well in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills with customer, contractor and supplier relationships
- Excellent time management & organisational skills
- Significant residential construction knowledge and understanding of quality practices
- Understanding and commitment to relevant OH&S regulations.
- Formal industry qualification
