The Opportunity
This is a mixed accountability role you will be responsible for project administration for the insurance, refurbishment and aged care division so experience in these sectors are invaluable.
In this role you will be reporting directly to the 2IC who is based out of the Head Office in inner North Brisbane.
The Key Performance Indicators for this role will be as follows:-
- The ability and exposure to manage multiple projects up to 10 million per annum.
- Insurance Refurbishment for Residential construction project experience
- Aged Care Projects
- QBCC Terms and Client Variations
- Understanding contractual conditions
- Liaising with client representatives and internal stakeholders
- Orchestrate all Contract correspondence and maintain document control standards as per company policy
- Direct communication with developers, contractors and agencies.
- Supporting the Senior Estimator
- Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Best practices and OH & S
- Solution focussed confident professional non-political personality.
- Experience with Data Build, MS Project, Office 365 or Sharepoint
About You

You will be currently working as a Project Administrator for a mid-sized construction firm who specialises in insurance and or aged care market. University qualifications in Construction or Project Management or a related discipline would be highly favourable.
It is imperative that you have strong written (for state reporting) and verbal communication skills and are able to converse with site staff right through to management level. Some site travel may be required to the Gold Coast. Sites currently in Brisbane Metro, Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast.
