About The Role
Service Stream's Fixed Communications division are currently seeking a Trainer/Assessor to join our NBN Operations and Management team. Reporting directly to the Field Services Manager, you will be responsible for managing the training and assessment of field technicians across the NBN OMMA project. Based in Welshpool, and offered on a Permanent, Full Time basis, this position offers an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.
Duties and Responsibilities
Field technician on boarding
Develop, maintain and coordinate training plan
Facilitate training sessions and conduct field technician competency and performance assessments
Coach and assist contractors to ensure learning outcomes are achieved
Implement new processes and procedures for existing workforce in relation to training/accreditation requirements
Develop and maintain training register
Keep abreast of all relevant legislation, regulation and contractual information
Develop and implement quality plan
Skills and Experience
Certificate IV Training and Assessment
Relevant industry experience
Australian Driver's license
Experience developing assessment tools
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong organisational and time management skills
Ability to work with, and provide support to team members
Tertiary studies in Telecommunications, and Training or equivalent advantageous
