You'll oversee teams of Contractors/Sub-contractors delivering work, this will require robust planning as this position is not a role where you will be on-site constantly, it's more realistic to describe the role as you having conducted strong project governance ahead of the start and be visiting site regularly, but not daily to oversee delivery. Therefore your ability to procure, negotiate with and manage contractors will need to be of a high calibre.
Experience in liaising with Landlords/Leasee/Leasor would be highly regarded but not essential. The organisation will endeavour to load you up with projects close to home wherever possible. As a consequence it is highly unlikely you'll ever stay away from home overnight and have a workable split of office and site based duties. That said, applicants already based in South Sydey may find this role can offer a terrific work/life balance.
Experience in retail projects is essential, whilst excellent training and development will be given, applicants must possess a demonstrable track record of retail projects.
