We are looking for a competent Site Foreman or Site Manager to coordinate operations and oversee one or more fit-out projects. As the point of reference of both workers and sub-contractors, you will be a key person for the completion of a project.
Your leadership skills and extensive experience have earned you the ability to direct the work of others and make quick decisions. You must be well-organized and favour safety above everything else.
Responsibilities
- Site supervision of staff, sub contractors and suppliers
- Programme of works
- Manage safety and environment in accordance with company system
- Allocate general and daily responsibilities
- Ensure manpower and resources are adequate
- Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget
- Resolve problems when they arise
- Report on progress to managers, engineers etc.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a site manager or site foreman
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and WSH
- Ability to read drawings, plans and specifications
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to communicate and report effectively
- Problem-solving abilities
- Trade background
- Minimum 3 years experience
