Bitumen Repairs is a medium sized growing company focusing on asphalt repairs and small civil construction projects. We pride ourselves on the quality of workmanship and looking after our customers. 

We require an enthusiastic, outgoing person to join the sales team. Reporting directly to the General Manager this role involves, quoting on both repairs & new construction. You will develop and manage relationships with new and existing customers to expand the business base. 

Our successful applicant will need to demonstrate a strong ability in a Sales or Customer Service role with a proven achievement in road construction, primarily asphalt works.   

You must be able to work in a team environment, but also be self-motivated to work alone, be flexible with your hours, have good accurate data entry skills, and enjoy talking with customers, over the phone & face to face.

To be considered for this role, you must have the following experience and attributes: 

• Accept & carry out responsibilities in accordance with our OHS & Environmental policies. 
• Good presentation & sales skills. 
• Strong people skills and communication skills 
• Strong negotiation skills, able to optimise profitability and as well as monitoring sales & pricing strategies to achieve market performance. 
• Follow up and close out all quotations 
• Experience in construction and asphalt industry to be able to advise clients on best & most cost-effective method. 
• Develop and nurture customer base. 
• Strong customer focus 
• Able to be flexible with hours. Be committed to giving your best to achieve outcomes for the company. 
• Sales & profitability targets to be achieved.
• Good computer skills. 
• Ability to read & follow plans. 
• Construction White/Blue card 
• A good understanding of safety requirements
• Carry out estimating & tendering for a range of clients, small to large. 

• Must be able to pass a pre employment drug and alcohol test with possible further testing during employment

• Will be supplied a sign written vehicle which must be maintained in a clean state. 
• Generous Base salary with bonus after targets met.
