$25.00 per hour for a 25- 38 hour week

Job tasks and responsibilities
Manage a team of WFD participants in a workshop environment
Monitor and maintain all WHS requirements
Teach and inspire participants
Upcycle and repair furniture with participants
Create furniture and other items out of pallet timber
Source pallet timber and other raw materials for manufacturing.
Skills and experience
About the Role
Reporting to our Operations Manager, this is a hands-on position where your focus will be on the development, implementation and monitoring of Work for the Dole activities in our Upcycle Centre in Chinchilla for WFD participants. This will involve providing on-the-ground supervision, motivating WFD participants as well as recording and reporting on attendance at activities.
The ideal candidate will have skills and/or experience in a trades related discipline and previous experience in supervising and/or motivating others. You will need to have a working understanding of Workplace Health and Safety implementation. A current drivers licence and national police check is necessary to be considered for this role. A current First Aid Certificate would also be an advantage.
A clean and tidy appearance is a must.
