My client is looking for a Foreman with 2/3 years’ experience running jobs who is looking to learn and develop their career into Site Management. Absolutely smashing opportunity to get in with a very well-respected builder who have a great portfolio of work in Sydney - from houses to commercial developments and anything in between.

Office located very close to CBD.
Idea is to come on board in hands on role for 2/3 months to learn how business operates and the systems, then be given your own job to run.

Salary from $100,000 - $1100,000 + Super - Immediate Start
Must be hands on and be prepared to get stuck in
  
 An Immediate requirement for a strong carpenter/Supervisor to join an established, highly reputable Australian builder to help with its buoyant workload. Initially you'll be based on site working under a foreman who will show you the ropes.
  
In this position, reporting to the SPM and Director, you will be the number 2 on site and take on the learning of Management of the day-to-day running of the site, responsibilities including; 
  
Management of sub-contractors and trades
Site inductions and tool box talks
Read construction plans 
Setting-Out
Management of finishes trades to a top-quality finish. 
Occasional carpentry duties/building duties
Ensure works are undertaken safely - OHS management
Drive the sub-contractors for project delivery in line with programme while maintaining strong relations.
  
This position offers an excellent opportunity for a leading hand looking for a step up into a Site Foreman position and further management roles with a leading Australian builder. To be suitable for the role it is anticipated that you will possess the following;
  
A carpentry trade background - 2/3 years out of apprenticeship with management experience
Willing to build up some strong supervisory skills.
Happy to occasionally 'work on the tools' when required.
Experience in different types on construction.
Career focused and a desire to progress through to management roles.
