About the business
Backyard Grannys is an award winning granny flat builder in the Newcastle and Central Coast area.
About the role
Become a vital member of our team managing our residential construction projects. This role involves scheduling trades, ordering materials, processing invoices and working to ensure each project is carried out to meet our high standard of quality.
Main duties
- Work to maintain project timelines in accordance with client expectations and contract requirements
- Ensure the cost of construction meets budget estimates and contract pricing
- Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers
- Liaising with consultants including certifiers, engineers, surveyors, etc
- Create safety management plans and carry out site inspections
Skills and experience
- Bachelor of Construction Management Degree or equivalent
- Recent graduates considered but prefer at least 1 year experience
- Be able to work independently and effectively as a team member
- Be well organised with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent MS Office and technology skills
- Keen to learn and develop your project management career
