Traffic Manangement - Operations Supervisor required to join our small management team in southeast
The position:
The primary focus of this Operations Supervisor is to run the day-to-day scheduling of a fleet of over 40 vehicles, plus admin tasks as required. This position will be located at our Southeast office/warehouse.
The main duties:
- Operations and scheduling of day to day works
- Hands on experience in Traffic Management
- Previous proven experience as a Traffic Controller
- A proven ability in all administration requirements including working to site budget requirements
- Proven Leadership and Supervisory skills
- Able to work in a team environment
- Posses a strong sound knowledge of the Code of Practice and Australian Standards
- Able to work in a team environment to deliver high quality, on time results
- After hours phone calls
- Ensure our client receives the highest quality of service
The successful candidate will be professional and continually perform at their best with a forward thinking approach.
To be successful, you need to have the following attributes:
- Sound computer knowledge
- Minimum 2 years previous experience in a similar role
- Proven understanding of complex traffic management arrangements on high speed roads
- Hold a current manual drivers license, relevant traffic tickets and OH&S White Card
- Ability to interpret plans
- Commitment to safety
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Sound knowledge of all relevant workplace OH&S
- Excellent problem solving skills
- The ability to mentor, motivate and develop other team members
