Client:
Our client is a highly successful mining services solutions provider in the water, energy and power installations market servicing Australia's leading mining firms. Due to recent contract awards and expansion of their business they are now seeking a Project Scheduler to join them.

Opportunity:
Here lies an outstanding employment opportunity to work amongst some of Australia’s largest mining projects, with this dynamic organisation. As a Project Scheduler you will have the opportunity to work autonomously and as part of a highly engaged project engineering team. Your primary responsibility will be to set and manage schedules relating to the company’s dewatering and pipeline projects, including but not limited to monthly reporting, managing milestones, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring adherence to sub-contractor schedules.

This position would suit candidates with either a Scheduling, Planning, Project Controls or Project Engineering background.
  
Key requirements for the position:

• Scheduling or Planning experience across projects on mine sites
• Scheduling or Planning experience working on a Rio Tinto project/site (can be a contracting company)
• Sound understanding of Rio Tinto systems and processes 
• Strong computer skills including either Primavera or MS Project 
• Professional and effective communication skills
• Strong analytical, collaboration and problem-solving skills
• Proactive - Can Do attitude
• High attention to detail
