Company
Our client is an international supplier of commercial furniture and have numerous clients across Australia and Internationally. They have been in operation for over 30 years and are extremely busy at the moment with a variety of projects. Their head office is in Melbourne and this role will be based from VIC but will also see you travelling interstate and overseas to manage and coordinate projects and installs.
Role
Due to increased workload and a number of projects they are seeking to employ a contract project coordinator / manager to start immediately. The role will involve coordinating and managing projects from the office and on site including the provision of sub contract labour and liaison with suppliers, installers and the client. You will also work closely with the builder / end user to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget. Core projects are focused on hospitality / accommodation / FF&E.
Skills & Responsibilities
We are seeking applicants with the following skills and experience;
- Previous commercial furniture / fit out project management experience.
- Strong planning, scheduling and project coordination experience.
- Previous commercial / Hospitality / FFE project experience.
- Solid liaison and client management experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Problem solving skills and ability to think on your feet.
- Ability to travel interstate and overseas when required.
