About the Company
As a well-established multi-disciplined contracting business with a turnover of circa $20m, an opportunity has come up for an experienced Systems Manager to join the business and champion best practises and procedures. Having recently commenced a full review of all company systems, the role will be to manage the organisations quality, environmental, safety, IT and HR systems. You will be able to consolidate, improve and implement updated and robust systems and procedures to ensure an efficient and modernised project lifecycle.
Responsibilities will also include;
Providing the expertise, knowledge, capability and drive to enable the on-going compliance and continual improvement of the management systems including quality, safety and environmental management within the company in the context of the Integrated Business Management System.
- Management and improvement of company integrated management system
- Develop site specific project plans in close consultation with relevant supervisors and consistent with the Integrated Business Management System
- Liaise closely with supervisors and work crews in the implementation of the project plans
- Undertake regular audits of the implementation of quality, OH&S and Environmental plans and monitor the performance of the business and all subcontractors.
About You:
You should be able to demonstrate experience in similar roles within a construction environment and ideally within a smaller business in order to maximise your previous experience. You will be fully conversant in all relevant codes and specifications with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Other criteria include;
- Qualifications in related engineering discipline
- Experience in systems engineering and assurance principles on major projects
- Have excellent communication skills including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with key stakeholders
