The Opportunity

Our client is a well respected multi-disciplinary contractor operating in both Australian and international markets. Working across mining, infrastructure and civil construction, specialising in civil earthworks, crushing and screening, blasting, drilling and mining. Our client prides themselves in their esteemed ability to implement integrated capabilities to reduce costs, timeframes and complexity for clients, while elevating safety, quality and sustainability standards on every project.

Our client is currently looking to engage a Project Manager with experience to join them on one of their current MainRoads projects valued at $30m in regional WA. You will be reporting directly to the Operations Manager on a FIFO structure with an an appealing roster.

The Role
If you are successful in this role, you will be responsible for;

• Budgeting, cost and cash flow forecasting
• Liaising with relative parties involved and maintaining strong stakeholder engagement 
• Converting project programs to solid and well-organised site activities
• Delivering the project to the highest of standards, within budget and time frame
• Management of project activities and work scope
• Acting as focal point for technical advice on contractual matters and providing Project Manager with best practice construction methods
• Effective Sub-contractor management 
• Acting as a leader on site, consistently upholding all HSE policies

The Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a Project Manager role across civil and bulk earthworks projects within the Resources sector
• D&C experience cross Main Roads projects
• A tertiary qualification in either Construction Management or Civil Engineering
• Strong organisational and programming skills
• Must have sound industry knowledge 
• Ability to establish and maintain longstanding relationships
• Extremely strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience working on D&C projects in excess of $20m
