This a a great job opportunity to report directly to the Director / Owner leading and managing TfNSW projects. The role of Senior Civil Engineering Survey Manager will require someone who has worked on many TfNSW projects and knows their stuff when it comes to managing and running projects.

The ideal candidate for this position will have high level communication and relationship building skills, drive and ambition and a can do no-nonsense attitude. 

This position is key to our client and the successful candidate will have to be a solid decision maker, problem solver and relationship builder.

Roles and Responsibilities of the Survey Manager will include 

• Manage Survey functions/allocations for relevant projects
• Build on exisiting relationships with leading contractors
• Work strictly to health and safety standards
• Work towards deadlines accurately managing your time efficiently 
• Monitor financial performance against budget, invoicing, profit and loss and working with Unions.

To be considered for the role of Survey Manager, you will

• Relevant Qualifications - Degree or Advanced Diploma of Surveying
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of legislation, systems, procedures and technology
• Ideally will have worked on TfNSW projects in the past
• Experience of 12D
• Excellent communication skills - verbal and written 
• Major Civil Infrastructure Project experience managing crews of 5-10 surveyors
• Previous experience in supervising projects and staff allocation 
• Effective time management and planning
• A clean driver licence
