About the company:

An emerging Tier 2 Melbourne based civil contractor who's s been established for over a decade, is going through a significant growth phase. Backed by Tier 1 experienced upper management, they have a strong order book already taking shape for 2018/2019 with work across road & bridge infrastructure & rail.

Due to an internal promotion they are looking to secure an intermediate civil estimator to join the team. You be reporting to the Estimating Manager and working within a team of 3 where you'll be tendering on a range of civil projects between $10m - $50m. 

This role would suit an estimator who's looking to work on larger value projects.

Role & Duties:

• Completing take offs
• Preparation of tender proposals and quotes
• Site visits to ensure correct scope is being completed
• Liaising with sub contractors to obtain quotes

To be considered for this role you will have:

• Civil engineering degree is preferable
• A minimum of 2 years experience in an estimators capacity
• Excellent written &  verbal communication skills
• Experience tendering on roads, car parks or rail projects $3m +
• Exposure to a diverse range of estimating software’s & packages
