Serco successfully manages the entire City of Melbourne open space area through two dynamic contracts. Forming a critical part of this team, we are now seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to represent the business by driving development projects and sales across the City.
The Position:
- Supervise Capital Works subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget
- Attend site briefs to develop scope of works for landscaping and irrigation projects
- Prepare quotes and tender comparison
- Monitor and track all third party works within the City of Melbourne parks and gardens
- Ensure all damage caused by third parties are reinstated to Council standards
- Ensure all OHS&E, Environmental and Quality issues are achieved
About You:
- A background working with subcontractors
- Commitment to ensuring Workplace Health and Safety
- Exceptional communication skills and proven experience in providing quality customer service
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in supervision of open space or landscape construction projects/services
- Demonstrated experience in supervising multiple worksites
- Demonstrated experience in delivering playground, sports grounds etc
- Working towards Diploma of Project Management (desirable)
- Commitment to the processes of continuous improvement
- A current manual Drivers Licence
- Truck, Excavator, Skid Steer Licence (desirable)
