De Luca is one of Queensland’s leading choices for major commercial, retail and industrial construction projects, and we are currently searching for an experienced HSEQ Advisor to join the team.
In this role you will provide collaborative support to the Compliance & HSEQ Manager on project sites through the implementation of systems and streamlining of processes, and development of education and training to support a positive HSEQ culture and climate.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing SWMS and Safe Work Instruction in line with legislative requirements
- Reporting site safety performance in-line with company IMS management systems
- Maintaining and implementing the Project's WHS&E policy, management plans, systems and procedures
- Conducting regular site inspections, reviews and audits to schedule
- Incident reporting and investigation
- Providing guidance and safety support to the Project Team
- Conducting inductions, tool box talks and corrective action follow ups
The following criteria is essential:
- Qualification in WHS (Certificate IV in WHS a minimum)Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction
- Demonstrated experience in
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- IR Experience is also essential
- Manage Site Safety and able to work autonomously
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to conduct site inductions
- Good computer literacy
- Team player
