My client is a busy, established home builder company working on projects across granny flats, residential and commercial projects. An amazing opportunity to join a business that employs 22 office staff. My client is looking for someone to hit the ground running immediately, eventually growing and leading the estimating department. The client is willing to migrate to what ever Estimating Software package the candidate would like to use. 

The responsibilities of the Estimator role include:

• To assist the Operations Manager secure a pipeline of work
• To maintain and promote reputation of a trustworthy, professional, sophisticated building company – a leader in the project home building industry.
• To assist in tendering, estimating & pricing of upcoming projects & tenders
• To learn and develop as part of the project management team
• Proven ability to grow a business in revenue and recruitment of additional estimators into the team.

About the Estimator role includes:

• Direct experience in Estimating is a must 
• Have the ability to lead and mentor a team
• Strong interpersonal skills and leadership skills
• To have demonstrated experience in managing end to end estimating
• Good Commercial/ Contract Management experience, with an eye for detail

Candidates must have the right to live and work in Australia.
