This highly regarded national contractor is seeking a Regional Manager to join the team in in the Queenstown office. By adding your experience in this highly respected role, you will lead a team with a diverse range of projects under their belt already and many more in the pipeline. You may come from a commercial, civil, or residential background to lead the business forward. In this role, you will play an integral part of the New Zealand Leadership team by delivering exceptional projects on time, growing the South Island business through developing existing and new client relationships and mentor juniors with your technical and analytical expertise.
You will report to the Directors who possesses 60+ years' experience and has a history of business growth, a highly regarded technical knowledge and a wealth of international experience. He is also passionate about continual improvement of himself and his team.
To be successful in this position you must possess the following:
- Ideally 10+ years post graduate experience
- At least 5+ years in the NZ or Australian experience as a minimum
- Tertiary qualifications is an advantage
- Previous work experience within an Contractor in NZ and in a leadership role
- Strong understanding of NZ building Standards
- Strong technical ability across commercial or residential projects
- Proven ability to manage a team of professionals
- Strong focus on professional development
