Our client is a highly reputable company within the civil and road maintenance industry who is seeking a Road Inspector to join their team.
The position involves:
- The inspection and electronic recording of the condition of all roads, paths and drains.
- Identification and reporting of defects and hazards
- Liaising with onsite supervisors
- Minor maintenance activities
You must have:
- Basic computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Word. Training will be provided on internal database.
- Current drivers licence (truck licence is an advantage)
- Basic knowledge of current OHS Legislation
- Excellent time management skills
- The ability to work unsupervised and independently
Work will predominantly be based out on the road however you will also be required to work in the office. The hours of work are generally 6:30am-3:00pm Monday to Friday, with some flexibility required.
You will be issued with a company tablet, phone and a work vehicle during work hours.
