Veolia has a new opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our team based on the Sunshine Coast. This position is pivotal in delivering major projects on the Sunshine Coast and South East Queensland.

Your responsibilities in this position include: 

• Manage all requirements of assigned projects including planning, design and construction;
• Prepare project scoping, planning and initiation documentation;
• Report on project performance and ensure delivery of program milestones on time and on budget;
• Manage performance, compliance and expectations of resources for the project;
• Interpret Project deliverables and analyse Commercial Risk ensuring risk is managed through the contracts framework;
• Management of customer & supplier relationships (both internal & external), along with third party organisations;
• Manage the project specific engineering team which can consist of employees and external consultants;
• Share knowledge and contribute to the greater success of the team;

The ideal candidate will have the following: 

• Engineering Degree or equivalent Experience in a relevant discipline (construction management)
• Previous experience in Construction and Contracts Management;
• Electrical or mechanical engineering experience would be an advantage;
• Strong business acumen;
• Outstanding communications skills;
