This business has grown substantially over the past 3 years. With very strong leadership and key relationships they have grown their team significantly to keep up with large scale projects they have acquired within the education and public sector space. 

Due to continued growth they are looking for a Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor coming from a consultancy background, to work closely with senior finance and Directors. 

Responsibilities will include;

• Establish and set program and project budgets
• Manage program and project budgets, including monthly reporting requirements
• Manage a portfolio of projects
• Estimating and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan
• Taking personal responsibility for making cost checks and carrying out valuations on larger projects and in all cases ensuring that timely and accurate cost checking and valuation takes place.
• Producing monthly post contract cost reports and presenting them to the client
• Collaborate and develop good relationships with clients and stakeholders internally and externally.
• Responsible for pre and post-contract quantity surveying duties including preparation of cost estimates, procurement and tendering, contract administration, variation, final account, etc
• Tendering and procuring, including managing the pre-qualification stage, producing the tender list, putting the preliminaries together, tender analysis, producing the tender report and compiling the contractual documents.
• Completing feasibility studies and writing procurement reports.
