Excel Recruitment is currently seeking a Crane & Plant Operator for a short term project. Our client is a uniquely diverse and innovative infrastructure company that offers excellent working conditions with above award pay rates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate all company cranes in a safe manner
• Operate various company plant and equipment such as Backhoes, Excavators, Loaders etc in a safe manner
• Complete daily checks of plant and equipment used (Cranes, Loaders etc)
• Supervise and coordinate Heavy Lifts
• Provide feedback on Crane operators, Riggers and Dogmen
• Coordination of Cranes with work requirements
• Ensure all company Cranes are well maintained and in a serviceable condition
• Perform all other reasonable lawful duties within scope and training as required

Criteria:

• Open Crane Licence
• Excavators, Loaders, Backhoes, Front End Loader Tickets and MC Licence
• Knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements regarding Crane operations and maintenance
• Experienced in the operation of Backhoes, Excavators, Loaders etc
• Experienced in Crane operations and the coordination and supervision of Heavy Lifts
• Demonstrated motivation and enthusiasm
• Effective communication skills
• Knowledge and practice in OH&S as it relates to the use of cranes and plant and equipment
