The Company:

My Client is an award-winning construction group focused on the delivery of architecturally unique, highly specified residences, apartments and commercial structures. Their experience is in the construction of bespoke and complex renovations, additions and new builds. 

They specialise in applying a high level of detail through all phases of the project, streamlining structures, and delivering cost efficiencies, without compromising aesthetic intent.

Your Role

• Manage typically 3 Projects (projects from $5M-$40M) at a time, take these projects from concept to completion
• Client Management – engage with clients through all stages of project delivery
• Proactively manage workflow to ensure projects are delivered to a high standard in a timely manner that meets business objectives
• Schedule Projects, Manage Documentation, Co-ordinate Sub Contractors and Suppliers
• Coordinate with external consultants including engineers, town planners, service authorities and building surveyors.
• Management of project (construction & administration) team
• Management of project finances (revenues, costs, forecasts)
• Management of project time schedule, including development, implementation, and monitoring of programs, monitoring subcontractor progress and intervention as required, monitoring off-site activities, with monthly notification of expected completion date
• Management of project design (D&C contracts)
• Management of project industrial relations
• Convening and chairing meetings as required (PCG, Design, Construction Team) and distributing accurate minutes of these meetings
• Development and implementation of Project Delivery Plan
• Review & Approval of Head Contract Variation and Extension of Time claims prior to submission to client

  
The Successful Candidate will possess:

• Passion for providing the highest level of customer service
• Have a continual improvement mindset – always be looking to provide industry leading solutions in the most efficient and effective manner
• Highly organised and able to multi task and manage several competing priorities
• A minimum of 5 or more years’ experience in the Construction industry
• Can demonstrate success in managing projects valued up to $40 Million
• Experience in design and construct would be a great advantage.
• Must have outstanding inter-personal leadership skills
• Have a calm yet efficient demeaner and an ability to handle the pressures associated with major building construction projects
• Be competent and confident in your approach to delivering High End Custom Residential Builds
• Bachelor of Construction Management, Project Management or Engineering qualifications
• Demonstrated Delivery of High End Apartments, Townhouses & Custom Homes.
