Boral is a leading full service supplier of asphalt and technical materials for the surfacing and maintenance of road networks. The division has plants throughout Australia and is a leading supplier to road building and critical public and private construction projects.
The role:
- Ensure all contractual, quality/testing requirements are adhered to and customer expectations are managed effectively
- Develop, implement and maintain quality assurance documentation
- Ensure identified risks and non-conformances are evaluated and determine their impact to the business
- Monitor and review effectiveness of controls in place to eliminate and reduce identified risks
- Adherence to Boral’s Policies and Standard Operating Procedures
- Commitment to Safety
What are we looking for?
- Degree in Engineering, Construction or equivalent (preferred)
- Testing / Quality Assurance skills
- Technical / laboratory background
- Experience writing technical reports and working with accredited quality systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong organisation skills and ability to prioritise effectively
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Construction or road surfacing industry experience will be highly regarded
