About the Company:
This builder has been operating in Victoria for 20 years and have successfully delivered a number high-end apartment and age-care builds in excess of $40Mill. The have a number of repeat clients that come back to them time and time again and have a solid pipeline of work secured.
   
About the Responsibilities:
  • Review CAs tender analysis and procurement schedule
  • Provide advice on ‘risk areas’ (trade packages that require more quotes, who to go to etc.)
  • Prepare procurement reports and lists to assess the project status on procurement.
  • Review contract packages prior to commitment authority sign off (draft contract, tender analysis, over budget form, scope of works etc.).
  • Ensuring that the packages include all necessary items prior to the Commercial manager sign off.
  • Review signed contracts prior to JT sign off.
  • Review variation approvals prior to Commercial Manager sign off.
  • Review and modify of CA standard forms and checklists.
  • Preparation and implementation of new systems (i.e. contract signing procedure, over budget form procedure, prelims, trailer plan).
  • Plant and machinery review.
  • Meet new subcontractors and suppliers
  • Searching new subcontractors and suppliers for pricing
  • Contract preparation/amendments
  • Reviewing and preparing standard templates
  • Assisting with Minor projects
  • Assisting with Project start-up/early works if needed
  • Reviewing Contracts and Variation approvals prior to TT sign off
  • Preparing procurement report and lists to assess project status on procurement
About you:
To be successful in this role you'll have extensive experience working as a Contracts Administrator on Apartment and Age-care builds around $20Mill mark. Victorian experience essential and exposure to Cheops highly desirable.
