BDK have several labouring positions available in a Factory that produce complete bathrooms for constructions projects across Australia and overseas. The positions all are minimal 5 days a week work every week with many opportunities to learn new skills, and further your career in our organisation.

There are many diverse positions in the factory that consists of 10 departments with different responsibilities and separate skill sets needed. Some examples of the knowledge needed for separate departments are listed below

• Structural carpentry
• Finishing a bathroom (installing hand rails, taps, mirrors etc..
• Plaster installation
• Logistical dispatch and insolation instalment
• Repetitive cutting and measuring of materials such as wood and plaster
• Painting of walls and waterproofing walls
• Working in a team
• Cabinet installation
• Use of all hand power tools
• Following a checklist of tasks

Mandatory minimum requirements for position are:

• Ability to work at least 5 days a week Monday-Friday
• Current drivers license and personal transport to and from work
• Tax file, bank details will be needed to be provided in induction
• Ability to work at least 38 hours a week
• Basic PPE (High Viz polo shirt, trade work pants/shorts steel cap boots)
• Able to trial with BDK at maximum 2 days notice before the day

Process and Schedule

All positions are at least 5 days a week with some overtime during the week available. Start times are from 7am-3:20pm each day (with exception to heat or planned overtime when we begin at 6am. With some Saturday overtime available weekly. All overtime is paid using penalty rates.

We are looking for staff who need and want to work everyday, that are reliable and want to further their skill set and career into the foreseeable future.

• Applicants who apply will be first placed into a group interview for information in detail about the positions and for BDK to obtain a basic understanding of candidates experience and skills.
• Candidates who are suited will be called back for a private interview with a BDK staff manager
• Once a candidate satisfies criteria needed they will be given a date of induction that will be on the same day that they have a paid days trial in the factory
