Gertzel is a Melbourne based surveying company with 30 years industry experience. We currently employ 25+ staff and service the Victorian construction industry.
Our disciplines include engineering surveying, laser scanning, hydrographic surveying, topographic surveys, GIS and survey management for key infrastructure projects across Victoria.

About the Role:
We have opportunities available for Project and Senior surveying staff to join our unique and highly skilled team. If you feel you are ready to step up your career development, then this is a great opportunity.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Field surveying for topographic and engineering detail surveys.
• Laser Scanning and post processing.
• Setting out for civil construction.
• High precision monitoring.
• UAV surveys.
• Office computations including design model creation, drafting, machine control modelling and quantity calculations.
• Consultation with clients and coordination of site works in order to complete projects within time and budget constraints.
• Site Management Roles.
• Data Management Roles.

Criteria for a Successful Applicant:
• An undergraduate Degree/Diploma in surveying or an equivalent field, or work experience of 4+ years in a similar role.
• A sound understanding of construction processes and safety requirements.
• A strong work ethic.
• A team player displaying a willingness to learn and adapt to existing processes and procedures.
• The ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• The ability to work without supervision and to manage time efficiently.
• A candidate that can offer something new and unique to the team
• Australian Residency is mandatory.
