About the company:
This reputable and established boutique cost consultancy has been in operation for over 20 years, with the majority of their small, close-knit team having worked at the business for 10 years or more. The modern and bright offices are situated close to the station, with a fruit box provided weekly for staff, and bonuses given at Christmas and EOFY. Due to the smaller size of the consultancy, the Directors have a high level of involvement and mentorship with their highly skilled team.

About the Role: 
You will be performing Quantity Surveying duties on projects valued at up to $150 million. Clients will include private, public sector and government clients, with projects including aged care, commercial, industrial, high rise, hospitality, residential and infrastructure. The work is highly varied, and involves site visits and a high level of client interaction. There is a dedicated admin team to provide support to you in your role, with established templates for most reports and documents to assist you.

About the Duties:

• Traditional Quantity Surveying duties on projects valued up to $150 million
• Using Buildsoft
• BoQ, read + understand drawings, take off
• Cost planning, pricing of estimates,
• Feasibility studies
• Preparing tender documentation
• Contract administration – contractual and financial, both pre and post contract
• Progress payment recommendations
• Project Monitoring

About the Requirements: 

• Essential: Tertiaty Qualification in related discipline
• Essential: 4+ years experience as a Quantity Surveyor in Australia either with a consultancy or contractor, working on commercial projects
• Desirable: AIQS or RICS Membership
