My client is leading tier 1 construction organisation working across multiple infrastructure projects nationally. They are looking for a Risk Manager to join their growing team within the CBD. A superb cultured business working within a high performing peer group.
 
As the Risk Manager you will be responsible for the following core duties:
  • Maintenance and development of the Enterprise Risk Framework
  • Running practical and engaging risk workshops to all relevant staff
  • Working alongside the internal risk team including Commercial and HSE
  • Establish risk measures for modelling purposes based on quantitative and qualitative ratings
  • Develop the Risk and Opportunity systems to gauge effectiveness
  • Maintain compliance based on ISO9001
  • Identify training areas across the wider business and roll out training where necessary
  • Implementation of the Risk Management software System
  • Preparation of the monthly risk reports
  • Influence risk culture across the immediate team and wider business units
  • Influence continuous improvement and ongoing planning
  • Follow up with the target workshops to gain insight into engagement levels and success of embedding new practices
 
The successful candidate will have
  • Minimum requirement of a Batchelor Degree in Risk, Construction or related field
  • 15 + years' experience in Risk Management
  • Risk management within the construction industry is highly desirable
  • Experience in the application of Risk assessments systems
  • Proven experience working to Australian standards and ISO9001
  • Capability embedding risk policies through workshops
  • The ability to work within a team environment and autonomously
  • High level of communication skills both written and verbal
  • The ability to influence both within the immediate team and wider organisation
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement
