Reporting to the Head of Non-Trade, you  will lead the design and development of new innovative solutions  to make things simpler for our Store Teams and better for our Customers across our non trade areas.

 

You will also lead, manage a coach a team of Business Analysts and Operations Leads and act as a support to the greater team including preparation & coordination of Steering Committee materials and overall program governance. .

The successful candidate will be accountable for:

  • Leading the design and development of solutions to improve team experience in-store & improve the customer experience

  • Experience in establishing and leading cross functional continuous improvement projects

  • Project Managing the end to end delivery of the initiative into Store

  • Develop the approach, business requirements and associated business case for the initiative

  • Partner with a number of stakeholders collaboratively across the team and the business to develop the approach for the initiative, the business requirements and proof of concept including any technology and systems requirements

  • Develop and manage an appropriate project schedule to feed into the overall program schedule (Schedule, Dependencies, Risk, financials)

  • Run regular meetings and sessions to drive outcomes and also ensure project delivery

  • Timely and accurate reporting on progress, risks, roadblocks, financials

  • Engaging and managing senior stakeholders to ensure buy in and support

  • Ensure end state teams are ready to accept the change

  • Ensure smooth delivery and implementation into Stores

 

What Knowledge & Experience do you need:

  • Effective relationship builder -  junior through to senior stakeholders

  • Proven ability to lead and grow a team

  • Extensive Project Management experience

  • Proven experience in process improvement (DMAIC, Lean, DMADV, Green Belt/ Black Belt), certification would be highly regarded

  • Previous experience in initiative start up from solution design through to implementation

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders within a matrix work environment

  • Strong commercial / business acumen

  • Track record in managing complex projects

  • Previous Retail or Supply Chain experience  

  • Business case development

  • Previous experience in programs with end to end process improvement changes

  • Formal project management qualifications

  • Previous experience in programs with People and Process impacts
