Profession / Role: Precast Concrete - Junior Project Management

The Role:

• As a Junior Project Manager you will be reporting to the Operations Manager and you will be responsible for establishing and managing the administrative and cost aspects of your projects. You will work in the commercial sector and run the exciting and fast paced sites throughout Adelaide and country projects.

• You will ensure work is delivered efficiently of good quality, on time and on budget. You will also be responsible for;

• Pre-project planning, involvement and organising of project documentation

• Reading of construction plans and drawings.

• Liaising with clients, Architects, Consultants, Designers etc

• Establishing the site with WHS requirements, with support from our Safety Manager

• Ensuring productivity, efficiency and timeframes are being met on site

• Scheduling and managing deliveries

• Communicating and developing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Liaison with the commercial team to identify variations and claims

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management or similar

• Must have some office & site experience

• White Card, Forklift Ticket desirable

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Well developed interpersonal skills

• Understanding of Contract Administration

• Works well within a team environment but can work independently when required

• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word

• Main contract management
