We are currently recruiting for a high profile civil construction & roadwork company with a position based in the Sunshine Coast region.
This role is based in the Sunshine Coast region and there is no re-location allowance being offered so local applicants are encouraged. Must have on going working rights in Australia.
Post Graduate Position - Project Systems Rep
We are seeking a recent graduate in either Civil, Electrical or Environmental Engineering who is looking to progress and build a career in Civil Construction & Roadwork industries.
This person would have strong interests in project management/engineering with ambitions to build a career in civil works, being eager to learn new skills while at the same time applying current skills to successfully perform in an operational role.
The role will require high amounts of communication both face to face and over the phone, an outgoing personailty will be crucial in developing and maintaining internal and contractor relations.
The successful applicant will have understanding & experience in the following:
- Knowledge of Main Roads Specifications & Standards
- Documentation, Implementation & Reporting of:
- Environmental Management Plans
- Environmental Incidents
- Traffic Management Plans
- OH&S Minimum Standards
- Safety Inspections
- Safety Incidents
- Quality Control & Assurance
- Testing
- Inspecting
- Reporting
- Data management, filing and presentation
- Maintaining Project Systems Including Civil Pro & AMMS
- Document Control
- Project Tracking and Reporting
- Reviewing and updating of current policies & procedures
- Liaising with Managers and Project Coordinators
- Site Inductions & Pre Start Meetings
- Communication with and management of sub-contractors and suppliers
- Calibration of Equipment to specified standards
The successful person with be extremely competent will all basic Microsoft software and be able to easily adapt to various management and project planning software.
