The company 

This major player in the civil construction market has identified a need for an experienced Senior Project Engineer ideally with strong earthworks experience. This role will move to become a Project Manager over the next eighteen months so you need to have some good project experience already. There are no politics in this company, the expectation is that you get in and get the work done. You will be responsible for managing sections of works and you will have an excellent opportunity for a good work life balance and the company has stated they will provided you with every resource required to deliver the work.


The goal with this company is that you join them with the right attitude and you are still employed in ten years stepping up the ranks in a structured way with an established mentoring scheme to ensure you become the best engineer you can. Coupled with a structured path, they also will pay above market wage to attract the best engineers and leaders in the market. The niche with this company is they are not the largest but the goal is to work on the most complex projects and deliver them on programme / to cost. This is done by not under-resourcing projects as we typically see in the market but resourcing them appropriately and ensuring people are engaged and enjoy their work.


The person

To be successful in this role you should currently be a Senior Project Engineer looking for a challenge. Ideally have worked on earthworks but a good attitude and no arrogance will fit this business well. They work closely with their clients but expect their clients to work with them to ensure successful completion of works.
