We are working with a large and international construction company that has a strong protfolio of projects across Australia. Due to an increased pipeline of projects over the next two years, they are now looking for Project Manager to oversee infrastructure development and redevelopment projects across Victoria.
As the Project Manager, you'll be responsible for project management of key capital projects from inception to completion within agreed time-frames, quality and budget.
You will need
- Tertiary qualifications in project or construction management. A trade background would be advantageous but not essential
- Minimum 5 years’ experience managing mid to large capital projects in Victoria.
- Demonstrated experience in supervising multiple worksites
- Confident in procurement and mangaing sub-contractors from various disciplines
- Ability to promote a positive healthly and safe environment
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
- Dynamic, proactive and highly motivated with the ability to operate in a very fast paced environment
- Sound understanding and application of Project Management competencies including scope, time, costs, quality, HR, communications, risk, procurement, and integration
- Highly effective leadership, facilitation, motivational, negotiation and dispute resolution skills
- Ability to apply analytical skills and conceptual thinking to operations and systems planning across a range of technologies
- Strong skills with Microsoft Office tools particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and MS Project
- Current Victorian drivers licence, or equivalent.
- Applicants must reside in Australia and have current Australian work rights. Due to this role requiring local experience visa sponsorship is not available.
