Sandsky Developments is a growing and dynamic construction company based on the Gold Coast. As a result of growth, we are currently seeking a residential building estimator to join our successful team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual who has the ability to demonstrate attention to detail, accurate pricing and the ability to work unsupervised.
Our successful candidate must have experience and demonstrate the following:
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a residential building estimator.
- Experience in high volume residential construction a MUST
- Have the ability to work unsupervised within a team environment
- Outstanding analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and high computer literacy
- Enjoy a fast paced environment
- Ability to prioritise work and meet strict time frames
- Capability to work on multiple projects at once
- Proficient in using Databuild software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a positive 'can do' attitude
- Ability to interpret and work directly with CAD and REVIT drawings
Duties include:
- Sales Estimates
- Scheduling and compiling bills of quantities for purchase orders
- Preparing and sending out purchase orders to subcontractors and suppliers
- Establishing and maintaining good supplier and sub-contractor relationships
- Sending and compiling job quotes
- Maintaining up to date, accurate price lists and upgrades in Databuild
- Administering variations to contract
