Day to day responsibilities of this role will include:
• Day-to-day running of allocated projects
• General Supervision of all Trades, Sub-Trades and personnel
• Ensure that staff have an understanding of site project expectations
• Recognise and communicate project issues as they are discovered
• Document or draw up work instructions for workshop as required
• Provide feedback to staff regarding work performance / areas for further training
• Procure minor materials if required
• Co-ordination of site deliveries
• Enforce company standards and ensure any defects are rectified
• Manage workload effectively
• Communicate with client, office and other staff in an effective and timely manner
To be considered for this role you will meet the following criteria:
• Trade Qualifications in Cabinetmaking / Joinery / Carpentry / Shopfitting / QBCC Site Supervisors License
• OH&S White card
• Previous supervisory experience
• Professional and proactive outlook with a great work ethic
• Ability and willingness to travel and live away for projects as required
• Strong understanding of WH&S
• Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
• Attention to accuracy and detail
• Current Driver's License
• Strong planning and organisational abilities
• Ability to lead and work alongside others
• Ability to problem solve and deliver results
• Sound communication skills both oral and written
