At present, we are seeking a highly skilled boiler maker for a unique role, based in Dimbulah, only one hour drive from Cairns in the stunning surrounds of Far North Queensland.

Description

One of Queensland’s leading mango growers, our client is offering the right candidate a fantastic opportunity to showcase their exceptional welding skills - with free accommodation as part of the employment package!

Responsible for building new onsite donga accommodation and a range of other steel fabrication, your work will be highly visible and requires someone who takes exceptional pride in what they do. You’ll need to be willing to work hard and have the physical capability to take on a range of labouring activities. Reliability and a good work ethic is the key. Duties will include but not be limited to:

• Steel fabrication of dongas, chairs, tables, bollards, barricades, bin washers and more
• General labouring
• Maintaining a culture of safety

Your Skills & Experience

You must be a qualified boiler maker with exceptional welding skills and proven experience in your field.

To be considered for the role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Current trade qualification (international qualifications considered)
• Proven welding experience and professional reference
• Excellent physical fitness
• High attention to detail
• Take pride in your work
