Civil Estimator job for an experienced estimator to work autonomously or a junior to assist the team.

Your new role
As the Estimator you will prepare tender documents including programs for various projects, providing cost estimates and bill of quantities. As part of this role, you will asses methodologies of the project and make suggestions where appropriate. You will be active in pre-award negotiations, engage with suppliers and subcontractors, liaise with site teams and stakeholders.
This role will also allow you to be exposed to project management functions with training (if required) meaning you will manage the delivery of the projects that you are successful in winning
You will: -
- Prepare project schedules
- Manage sub-contractors
- Ensure site safety protocol is in place
- Ensure the quality of the project is met.
- Reach all financial objectives
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will have experience in estimating civil projects up to a value of $1m. You will have a clear list of projects that you have successfully tendered for. You may have some experience in project management however this is not essential as training is provided. You will have a passion for the industry and have a strong work ethic.
