A great opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Building Regulations Consultant / Certifier to join our friendly Sydney office. We are seeking an ambitious and committed individual who is able to represent the firm and deliver efficient and effective consulting services. The Role
The successful candidate can expect to work on all types of Class 2-9 buildings ranging from small fit-outs to billion dollar landmark developments. An ability to work autonomously and a willingness to assume a role as the key point of contact on small to medium sized projects is essential. We have a mentoring and review system in place so that staff are continually pushing their professional limits, with support and QA in place to ensure our work remains to the high standard our clients require. We are very much client focused which means the role will be demanding as well as rewarding. The ability to undertake Part 4a inspections under our corporate accreditation on behalf of our PCA's is also desirable.
Qualifications and experience
- 2-8 years' post graduate experience in commercial building certification is required.
- A degree in Building, Building Surveying or equivalent is a mandatory requirement for this position. Post-graduate qualifications would also be highly regarded.
- Applicants must be accredited or capable of being accredited to at least A2 level with the BPB. A desire to progress to A1 is also necessary.
