Our client currently has a position for an Electrical Project Supervisor/ Engineer to join their Electrical Construction team on a mineral sands mine in Cataby. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be given full responsibility of the project's electrical construction activities, as well as being required to plan and deliver works on time, within budget and with a high focus on safety.
Ideally you will have experience working with all aspects of light industrial, mining and commercial works, as well as developing work packs and MDRs, and generating weekly and monthly reports (safety statistics, schedule progression, costs and quality control documentation). You will be both an office-based and hands-on supervisor, who leads by example and is able to build excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders and contractors.
To be successful in this role you will have the following:
- 5 years experience in a similar position
- Experience with managing schedules, procurement and costs
- Experience with running small electrical teams
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Strong time management, planning and organisational skills
You will be a strong people leader who is commercially minded with a proactive ‘can do’ attitude, who knows how to drive a team to successful project completion. Your time management, planning and organisational skills along with your technical background will be highly regarded. This opportunity also presents possible further work at the Process Plant at Cataby after the completion of this project.
