ADE Consulting Group is looking for an OHS Co-ordinator to assist in the control and monitoring of ADE’s Integrated Management System (IMS) to ensure that OHS procedures are managed effectively, well communicated, understood and actioned by the team. ADE Consulting Group is a high calibre group of independent environmental consultants, occupational hygienists and geotechnical engineers providing a wide range of services including site contamination assessments, air and water quality assessments, asbestos inspections, laboratory services, hazardous materials surveys, occupational health and safety services, project management and site remediation.

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES:

 

  • Ensure a healthy and safe working environment. 
  • Communicate as required accurate information in relation to WH&S matters.
  • Provide and maintain appropriate levels of WH&S support to all, both external and internal.
  • Ensure continued compliance to the ADE Integrated Management System, ensuring that all employees, contractors and visitors understand and adhere to ADE WH&S procedures.
  • Actively identifying and developing continual improvement opportunities, including monitoring any changes in standards, best practice or legislation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies and continuous improvement in maintenance of internal systems
  • Manage ADE’s internal training program and ensure compliance
  • Reporting to Executive Committee

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • An ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to achieve reporting requirements in a timely manner.
  • Possess excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels.
  • Good analytical and numerical skills.
  • Must be highly motivated and require minimum supervision.
  • Suitable WH&S and IMS training and experience.


Qualifications

  • Specific qualifications in Health & Safety
  • Experience in industry in the development and implementation of IMS
  • At least 2 years of experience in similar roles
  • Thorough knowledge of relevant EHS legislation
  • Demonstrated Change Management experience
