MBA Building Services (MBABS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Master Builders Association of Victoria which plays an integral role in representing the professional and commercial interests of our members.
  
The Role:
MBA Building Services is currently seeking expressions of interest for an experienced Building Surveyor to work in our Ballarat Office. The role will be of great importance to the team and provide many opportunities to further develop your knowledge and skills.
  
Duties and Responsibilities:

• The processing and issuing of building permits for compliance with building legislation, codes and standards,
• Providing regulatory advice to applicants
• Supervising inspection of sites to ensure compliance with building legislation, codes and standards,
• Issue of building notices or orders if required
• Providing thorough administrative assistance
• Undertake and report on mandatory building inspections required under the Act,
• Interpret and implement legislative control and compliance procedures
• Documenting processes and booking inspections

Skills and Experience Required:
The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification within Building Surveying or have acquired relevant experience. They will also be a registered Building Surveyor (Limited or Unlimited), and possess a high standard of verbal and written communication, with a strong customer service ethic.
