The Company
An established Construction business with offices nationwide, specialising in Insurance Repair and Strata work. The business boasts long established relationships with Australia's major Insurance Companies and Loss Assessors. Due to strong demand, an additional Trade Supervisor is needed to join the highly successful team in the Newcastle area.
The Role
Seeking self-motivated individuals to both supervise and manage construction projects as well as assess and provide Estimates. We are looking for experienced, dynamic, resourceful and motivated individuals. We take pride in the quality of the work that we do and therefore the successful applicants must have an excellent eye for quality and detail.

This position involves:
· Inspecting property damage
· Obtaining quotes and competitive prices from suppliers and contractors
· Preparing quotations and reports
· Coordination of all approved repairs using trade personal and contractors
· Ensuring all jobs are programmed and completed within set KPI'S
· Coordination of subcontractors on commercial and residential projects
· Establishing and maintaining relationships with clients and trade contractors
The Candidate
To be successful in this role you will possess the following:
· 5+ years experience in the building industry (trade background an advantage)
· Insurance industry experience is highly regarded but a "can do" attitude is more important
· A strong working knowledge of construction and the current associated regulations
· Competent computer literacy
· Have a valid manual driver's license
· Excellent customer service skills
· Ability to perform well under pressure
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Have a professional appearance
· Have excellent time management skills
· Attention to detail
Typically the work requires Monday to Friday attendance, but in emergencies and during times of natural disaster, occasional weekend and after hours work may be required.
