Our client based in Castle Hill are currently seeking an experienced Insulation Takeoff Team Leader to join their team. Being the largest Insulation and Ventilation contractor in NSW, their three main market segments include new homes, alterations, additions, and existing homes.
As a successful candidate, you would be motivated and talented leading a small team of 'Plan Takeoff Estimators'. The role is varied and calls for exceptional customer service, with a collaborative approach and excellent attention to detail.
Working hours : Monday 8am to 4.30pm Tuesday to Friday 8.30 to 4.30pm

Key Role Responsibilities:
Unbeatable Customer Service
- Learn & share knowledge of products supplied & installed, their applications, applicable building standards & BASIX requirements
- Manage offsite plan Takeoff Estimator partner process & associated tasks
- Manage incoming plans inbox & follow up in a timely manner
- Interpreting construction drawings and takeoff the insulation material quantities using take-off/estimating software
- Checking & verifying customer purchase orders to plans
- Initiating and follow up of amendments & variations to customer orders
- Attend to calls & emails in a timely, professional manner
- Assist in resolving customer queries and delivery of "unbeatable customer service" at all times
Make the next person's job easier
- Assist sales personnel with quantity calculations required to complete quotations
- Develop standard templates for quantity calculation summaries and marked-up plans
- Assist the job schedulers with queries on pending jobs as required

Essential Experience:
- 1 to 2 years experience in "Plan Takeoff / Estimating
- Buildsoft Software or Takeoff software experience
- Construction estimating experience
- Experience completing material take-offs
- Experience reviewing construction plans, specifications, architectural sketches & other related construction documents
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel & Word)
