About the Role
As Project Engineer (EARTHWORKS) you will be working FIFO 2/1 ex-Adelaide to a South Australia mine site project. You will be assigned to support the delivery of a large package of bulk earthworks scope by providing technical input to site construction activities working in close liaison with the Project Manager. You will provide guidance on technical queries for the construction delivery team, manage sub-contractors, monitor progress and QA, and ensure safety compliance at all times. On offer will be a terrific Base Salary of CIRCA $120K + Super (+30% site uplift), but will be based on your existing level of relevant experience.
Skills, Qualifications and Other Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- Approximately 5-7 years' of site construction experience as Site/Project Engineer on bulk earthworks scopes of work for civil contractors in Australia
- Experience as Project Engineer on BULK EARTHWORKS projects on mine site infrastructure or industrial developments is essential (ie. site preparation, rail formation, haul/access roads, tailings dams)
- Previous exposure working on FIFO basis preferred as this is a requirement in this role
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead others
- Adelaide/SA based with existing rights to work in Australia (*Non-negotiable)
